Vet Claire Nicholls MA, Vet MB, MRCVS, GP Cert SAP, GDL

Claire qualified from Cambridge University in 1997 and has worked in small animal practice in the Manchester area ever since. She has a young Cocker Spaniel, Kim, and is hoping to get another puppy in the New Year.

Nurse Paula Gallimore RVN

Paula has been a Registered Veterinary Nurse for 13 years and has been working for Southfields since we opened in 2006. She gave birth to a little boy, Ronnie, in February 2009, and we are very happy to welcome her back from her maternity leave.

Receptionist Carol Nicholls

Carol is our Practice Manager and Head Receptionist. She helps us to provide a welcoming and efficient service to all our clients. She also juggles three young children and two dogs, Chloe and Lucy.

Receptionist Becky Hopkinson

Becky has worked at Southfields since 2006. She has excellent nursing skills but now works mainly on reception, as she has such a good memory for all our favourite patients. Outside of work, Becky is kept busy by her horse, two dogs and a cat.

Vet Patrick Murphy BVSc GPCertSAS MRCVS

Patrick has been qualified since 1997, and has been working in mixed or small animal practice since then. He has been a regular locum at Southfields and we are pleased to welcome him now on a more permanent basis. Patrick is married to Jane, and they have 2 small children, a dog, 2 cats, chickens and ducks.

Veterinary Nurse Katy Chrimes RVN

Katy is our new Registered Veterinary Nurse, who qualified in 2008 but has been nursing since she was 16. She loves running nurse clinics and looks forward to meeting all your podgy and geriatric fluffy friends.
